Bio:
When I was in between failing business school and deciding what I was going to do next, I was in a rock band called Beholder. I was the lead singer. We didn't get to play any bar gigs, just people's party's because one or two of our members were too young to go into a bar.
I was interested in doing long complicated pieces, our Drummer was into Southern Rock, our Bass player; Heavy Metal, our Lead guitarist; Jazz and our Rythem Guitarist; well I never really figured out what he was into. I never learned to play an instrument but I have always had a fond interest in music. My influences through the years have been:
Genesis, UK, Rush, Yes, Pink Floyd, Iron Maiden, Metalica, Kind Diamond, Slayer, King Crimson, David Sylavian, Debussy, Michael Schreive, Andy Summers, Michael Jones, Porcupine Tree, Robert Fripp, Dream Theater and a host of ambient groups that I can never remember the names of.
GarageBand looks like it might be the answer for me for creating music without wasting the other band members time with my mush. Hopefully I can make some very cool @#$%!
