Hello! I'm one of the co-admins of MacJams.com. We really hope you find this site useful and urge all of our users to send us feedback on the site, and especially any suggestions for improvements. We're constantly working on changes to the site to make it a better place to hang out and communicate with other users of Apple's GarageBand software. Regarding my profile image: As anyone who has moderated or administered a website can surely attest, there are more ITGs out there than you can shake a stick at. Music Background
I have no formal music background, save a few quarters of piano lessons when I was in college and lots of noodling around with various keyboards I've owned since that time. Mostly I try to pretend I'm Bruce Hornsby.
Music Skills
Primarly, I play with the keyboard instruments, and particularly the piano. Any instrument that sounds good through a software synth is likely to find its way into my GarageBand compositions.
Music Hardware
I've got a Yamaha P80 digital piano with great hammer-action, fully weighted keys, an Edirol PCR-30 keyboard controller, a Shure SM58 microphone, Sony MDR-V600 headphones, and a few other toys.
Music Software
GarageBand, Reason, and a handful of shareware and musical apps. I've also got a good number of loop CDs.
