Bio:
I'm a 20 year old college student that loves music but never seems to have the time to do it justice. I dont really know what I really want out of life yet. Musical experience is fairly limited. I played piano since I was five off and on. I quit in high school because I wasn't motivated to practice. Sure enough I ended up picking up a guitar and got back into music again, although never for long enough at a time to really get decent. I discovered garageband and immediately wanted to try my hand at recording. Initially I wanted to do hip hop beats. . never did too many of those. Oh well. Currently I record whenever inspiration hits and I have an hour or more to kill, meaning I don't get to do much. I joined an acapella group called Emocapella, which is exactly what it sounds like. Its alot of fun and we don't take ourselves very seriously. Ive recently decided I want to be in a band at least once. So thats my next goal: getting better at guitar and working on my voice and then getting some friends together and jamming and seeing where that takes us. This turned out longer than I thought.
Some random facts: Im a city kid. I loooove latin american music and culture. I grew up on hip hop. I fell in love with jazz during my piano days. Some of my friends really dig the rock scene nowadays so Ive been influenced by newer indie stuff too, although I will always have a soft spot for anything from the 90's. I just love music.

So, I'm 21 now, delving more deeply into the musical world of hip hop and spoken word. starting to mess more with loops and samples instead of MIDI instruments, although i still do both. hopefully i'll be performing and putting out an album over the next year! thats the goal. peace.

22, finally in a band (TNTrio), performing regularly, working on a CD, trying to make as much out if it as I can while I can. I'm looking into working at a recording studio. Slowly, I can feel it coming.

24, spent 2 years out of college at a commercial recording studio that specialized mostly in hip hop, r&b & pop. That was a grind. Am currently working as a free agent, but recently have been working out of a premiere studio in the area with some incredible engineers (grammy winning nashville types) and the most beautiful gear and acoustics Ive had the pleasure of working with. Im in a band called Level 7 and do solo stuff as well. Music music music!!!
