Bio:
Music was my first love. it still is. I have rediscovered music and time flies when playing my piano.
My heroes: Bach, Chopin, Beethoven and Vivaldi. Seeing Handel's burial place at Westminster Abby brought tears to my eyes, and look with great anticipation to someday visit Leipzig, were Bach (the man himself!) was the Kantor at the Saint Thomas School.
Modern heroes: John Williams, Yo Yo Ma, Joshua Bell, Kiri Tekenawa, Maurice Andre. I was probably one the first ones buying (then Walter) Carlos Switched on Bach. Still have the LP somewhere.
Work?: yes, too much of it.
Hardware: MacBook with upgraded internal 320 hard drive and 2 Gigs of RAM; external firewire drive.
Yamaha Clavinova CVP-98 connected via Uno Midi Cable.
Headphones: Beyerdynamic DT 880 using either a Headsix portable or a little Dot MK III amplifier.
Software: Logic Express 7, Garage Band with Symphony Orchestra Jam Pack and Ivory Piano (wonderful!)
The current picture was taken September 2008 at the Redwood National Park in Northern California.
