PEOPLE WILL 'COMMEND' A MAN FOR BEING A SEEKER OF TRUTH,
YET WILL QUICKLY 'CONDEMN' THE SAME IF HE EVER CLAIMS TO HAVE FOUND IT!
There was a time when all things immoral and illegal coupled with lots of rock and roll were what inspired and by and large all I really desired.After years of self induced drainbamage and runaway lawlessness I was blindsided by a series of spiritual 'Truths And The Consequences' and have yet to recover from those experiences.Truth has a way of doing that!
Growing up there was always music being played or being performed at our house or out in the garage.My siblings and I were blessed to have parents that were very supportive in allowing the creative juices to flow freely from their children.My Mom never stood still (still doesn't) and Dad was well known for his singing voice and the family business.My parents owned and operated a nightclub that offered up live music,which provided their children the unique opportunity to observe musicians (the good,the bad and the ugly) in their natural habitat;rehearsing,partying,posing,fighting,slandering,posturing,
pilfering,philosophizing,testing 1,2,3 ,testing 1,2!
I would have never believed it myself,but those 'Truths And The Consequences' mentioned earlier have changed my motivations,my inclinations and my inspiration,priorities and purpose in this life completely.Coming to know the undeniable proof and truth of mankind's Creator in a personal way,His creative hand in what we all see around us and His power to transform lives has me forever humbled and in awe.Watching and wondering what next as this world spins more and more out of control rebelling in every conceivable way against their Creator also adds fuel to my inner fire to step out;in word,in deed and in song.
Q:How much do you value your eyes? (the windows of your soul)
Q:Would you sell them for 5 million? 10? 50?
Q:How much more precious then is your soul that looks out those windows?
