Bio:
Started playing in regional touring bands in Minneapolis in the late 60's. Keyboard player, into computers and electronic music since they first came out.

My family has produced a number of musicians including a world renowned composer and a number of rockers. In my late 50's, I still compose, record, and play live gigs. My daytime job is a tech support rep for a major telecommunications and internet company.

I love technology.

Music Background Started playing piano at age 5. Took lessons for 12 years, studying mostly classical. Also played drums, brass and a little guitar before settling down to keyboards. Played with several reasonably successful regional band out of Minneapolis Including Bittersweet with my little brother (aka Peter Z) and several other great musicians who went on to form other great bands, Circus 13, Starship, and The Robert Moore Group (myself, Peter Z, BobbyZio (who moved to LA and has performed with a number of successful LA bands and is featured on on major movie soundtracks), and Denny Craswell, drummer from The Castaways of "Liar, Liar" fame and later with Crow, an incredible Minneapolis based band who toured with numerous hit acts. When I got married to my high-school sweetheart and best friend, I went to work for various manufacturers in the music and pro audio industry, and ended up here in Phoenix, where we raised our family. Designed touring sound systems, and fixed systems for various stadiums, auditoriums, and Houses of Worship. My music is a mixture of all the crazy stuff going thru my mind.... updated remakes of tunes we wrote in the late 60's and early 70's, tunes about people I've met, and even some stuff about or for my grandkids (including a lullaby, and a little tune about a baby discovering his.. er, uh "joystick". Influences- Yes, ELP, King Crimson, Triumvirat, Spocks Beard, Gentle Giant, John Williams, Genesis, and all of the great musicians that came out of those and other prog-rock bands
