Bio:
I have been able to be a Musician, Singer Songwriter, Producer, Recording Artist & Film Editor for a living in my lifetime. My best friend from High school Greg Snyder got me the lead singer spot in a very popular country rock concert act Whiskey River. We toured from New York to LA for 5 years and had a huge Midwest following. We recorded 2 independent albums the later the first recording artists to record at Scruggs studio in Nashville and produced by a young new producer Randy Scruggs. Producer Greg Brown from Warner Bros contacted me in 1989 and I moved to Nashville in 1991 and was signed to Warner Chappell Music as a staff songwriter and a Recording Artist for Reprise Records. In 1998 I returned home to be close to my family and I wanted to be a better musician and songwriter without all the pressure. I wanted to just stay home, practice, read, and write I had been gone for 12 years. I also went back to technical collage and got certified in computers. In 2003 I started my film company Your Best Memories that specializes in Audio & Film transfer. I still write, record & perform shows around Minnesota as a acoustic trio with longtime friends Charlie Tambornino & Curt Stone. If you like my songs just go to www.judderickson.com to order.
