Kori Arashi is a one man music project from the music enthusiast, Don Thor Gaspar II, who creates and composes music entirely on the iMac G5 computer. Tired of all the mundane overpraised alternative mediocrity he sought out to create his own music. With much practice building up skills for mixing over the years, in spring of 2008, he went in to create his very own official album titled "Universe Dreaming". With much help from the Mac Jams community of skilled professionals such as Tobin Mueller, Roca_Atomica, Cameron, and close friends, he was able to release "Universe Dreaming" a year later entirely for free which received many warm and positive reviews. The album featured many influences from the industrial groove metal band "Fear Factory" to the Finnish symphonic power metal band "Nightwish".
Since then Kori Arashi has moved onto other projects including creating an official soundtrack for a video game to be released on the Apple iTouch. More news will follow in the next week with the official title of the game along with soundtrack posted online with a full new album in the discography here.
A new album following the soundtrack will be released next year.
