Bio:
Luna Trick is the creative brainchild of English multi-Instrumentalist, Daniel Staniforth. Classically trained as a Cellist, Staniforth crafts an array of songs styles - ranging from alt-pop/rock to widely experimental. His hybridized guitar style renders many different sonic colours, which are further enhanced by his willingness to explore different instrumentation. Luna Trick is hard to pidgeon-hole in that it fuses many different elements, from darkwave, electronica, space-funk, to ethereal. Staniforth also composes ambient, neo-classical, and soundtrack type pieces under his own name - and a classical album is forthcoming later in the spring. Classically trained Cello & Piano. Self-taught Guitar & Bass. Music Theory & Composition at Royal Academy of Music - then graduate work in the US. Played with various bands, including Jealousy Screams, Dream N, Dark Audio, Matt France, Tel Basta, Dandy (now Hermano), and Supafuzz. Stringed Instrument Luthier (1995-2001).
