This is the official site of the 2009 MacJams Reunion Festival, a virtual music festival that will run from Feb 1 to Feb 14 on MacJams.
Festival planning is complete - food and drink available at the kiosk between the playing fields (no ice cream unfortunately, as Alf has been too busy), the porta-loos are coping well and a lot of the old guard have indicated interest and plans to participate (and some have even turned up!). We were hoping to see Myshkin (Ross) with some T-Shirts, but he's stuck on the highway from Sydney in a bushfire situation.
Picture a warm/hot Australian summer day in a perfect amphitheatre by the sea (click on the pic if you have Google Earth).
FIVE performance areas are available: one each for those who joined in 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007 and another for those who joined in 2008/9. See the sites listed below.
Plan is to have some luminaries from MJ's brief but illustrious past come back and play us some of their current music as well as performances by our currently active MJers. If you haven’t been to MJ for a while, please be active – even if its only for a week or two.

a) about something that happened (to yourself or in the "bigger picture") in the year you joined MJ
OR
b) posted by you at MJ in your first year.
Songs should be posted to your bio page (with “MJRF” as a title suffix) and a forum post to the official “MJ Reunion Festival” Forum so I can add as a fav to the appropriate Festival page.
