This is the official site of the 2010 MacJams Reunion Festival, a virtual music festival that will run from Feb 1 to Feb 14 on MacJams.
Festival site:
2009's MJ Reunion Festival (MJRF) was a huge success. Designed to bring back some of the original MJers for 2 weeks of peace, love and hippiness as well as welcoming newer MJers, 109 songs were posted specifically for the Festival. You can see the 2009 festival page here
This year we're hoping to have a similar success.
The Festival theme for 2010 is: take an old tune and revamp/reoxygenate or rerecord it.
Remember the guidelines:
+ a song from your first year, re-mixed or re-recorded OR;
+ a song about "reunion";
+ try making a video to go with the song;
+ don't post until February 1st 2010 - festival runs for 2 weeks;
+ encourage MJer friends to participate;
+ use the following title template so I don't miss that your song is for the festival: "My Song MJRF2010" - "My Song" is obviously to be replaced by your title;
+ have fun (and bring your swimmers/bathers/togs - picture of the site uploaded tomorrow).
