Music Background Most of our formal training is in classical music. Tiana studied vocals with the Ali Akbhar Khan school of music for a short period and now plays tablas and sings. She has been a recording artist since an early age. Besides being a unique and talented vocalist, she plays a number of exotic instruments (tabla, tambora, mrdunga, harmonium, guitar, dumbek). I was trained in classical music early on but gravitated towards the grunge scene. I recently had a brief study with the late Ali Akbar Khan in Calif. Affectionate blessings.
