I'm sort of an off-center electronica fan, and like a good rock tune too. Either one needs to be out of the ordinary with something innovative about it to really grab me. Maybe a new instrument tone, or some juxtoposition of sounds I had never thought of before. Something intellectual as well as emotional.
Major musical influences include: Squarepusher, Marumari, Phonem, Nobukazu Takemura, Aphex Twin, ยต-Ziq, Radiohead, Boards of Canada, Massive Attack, and assorted old NES games.
