Music Background From early years of making mix-tapes on a twin tape deck; pausing, cutting and recording, i was always listening to dance music and trying to edit it from an early age. Later from bedroom dj to house dj to club dj to international dj... my dj'ing years spanned 15 years, so i know what makes a good tune. Dj'ing has taken a backseat while i have concentrated on setting up a home studio. Here is where i am at the moment, learning to make my own tunes and get them out there. Working mainly on dance (minimal, house, electro) i often take time out to concentrate on producing more laid back world clique rhythms too. Looking at the prospect of studying music production at the 'School of Audio Engineering' (SAE) in Glasgow next year to accelerate my productivity.
Music Skills Using two turntables, CD decks and a sampler!
Music Hardware Korg 'MicroKORG' synth, Korg 'Electribe SX' production station, Focusrite 'Saffire' firewire interface, Yamaha 'MSP7 STUDIO' monitors.
Music Software Garageband, Cubase LE, Reason, many, many plug ins from Native Instruments.
