Wharmton Rise is the artist name of composer Andrew Lawlor (ASCAP). Composing mostly in the New Age/Ambient genres. Andrew, a native Englishman, feels his creative expression found true freedom when he met and married his American soul mate Debbie and moved to the United States in 2005. Typically, Andrew's music combines expressive and moving pads over a densely arpeggiated backing with emotive melodic sections picked out over the driving rhythms. Lately he has also experimented with more 'soundtrack-like' textures; again combined with his densely populated signature sound.
Andrew's music is currently contracted to Gratis Music (BMI) for licensing purposes.
