I like making beats. The kind of beats I aspire to make are generally hip-hop or electronica related. Ali Shaheed Muhammed, Dj Maceo (Plug 3), Prince Paul, Kruder and Dorfmeister, Dr. Dre, Timabaland, Thievery Corporation, Punjabi MC, Wax Tailor, RJD2, DJ Shadow, DJ Rekha all are inspirations. If only I could be 1/8th as good as any of them.
I have recently installed Logic. Tips and advice on what tools and whatnots I can use in Logic to improve any of the songs posted here will be much appreciated.

Music Background
I enjoy a variety of music. My favorite genres, generally in descending order, are: reggae, flamenco, hip-hop, R&B/soul (new and old-school), electronica, African (Afrobeat and new pop stuff), Cuban, old school Punjabi folk music, blues, Brazilian, Classical, American pop.
Music Skills
I've played guitar, mostly classical and flamenco music, for 9 years and occasionally taken lessons therein. Otherwise I'm self-taught.
Music Hardware
I own a very good nylon-stringed classical guitar. I also own a duclimer that I'm looking to get rid of and some harmonicas.
