Bio:
Andy McNeilly was raised in the small town of Fenelon Falls Ontario he discovered music at an early age and took vocal and piano lessons. As he grew older he became driven to become a percussionist. Through inspirational meetings with inspirational artists he became a driven and talented artist with a positive outlook and inspirational message. Not disregardingly of his singer/songwriter roots he enrolled in Post-Secondary studies of music majoring in Concert Percussion (all in search of a triangle repertoire and a solid cowbell training) studying under Professor Ian Gibson at Cambrian College in Sudbury Ontario. Andy just completed his second year of studies at Cambrian College. Andy has appeared in bands such as Diefenbaker, Sigma, Granite Grass, Remember When, Bob Anonymous, Dandelion Pharm, Odyssey Project and many jazz combos, concert bands and just this year was given the opportunity to perform in the percussion section alongside the accomplished Sudbury Symphony Orchestra. Currently Andy is undergoing recording of a series of programatic synth experiments titled and numbered. The first of the experiments has been released online and the second and third are to be released over the summer of 2009.
