Bio:

I’m an artist and teacher by trade and currently teach photography at our local community college. I have been playing guitar almost as long as I’ve been taking picture. Lets just says a very long time. I have a degree in Fine Art from Ohio University in Photography and taught digital imaging and printmaking there from 1998-2001. I have been fortunate to make a living at my Art by teaching and selling photographs. I have two books of photographs published, “Traces” and “D’Art Objects” and my photographs can be found in a number of museum collections. My music has paralleled my photography and has provided me an auditable output the way photography provides a visual one. When I was much younger I played in rock bands and since then have occasionally sat in with others. I have been one of the lucky ones to live the transformation from analog to digital in both photography and music. And in the 90’s Photoshop changed the face of photography the way I think GarageBand will change the face of music in this decade. And when you can unleash creative power it will always win out.
