My name is Da'Marcus Baymon and I would like my stage name to be Da'Marcus. I plan on attending the University of Texas in Austin to major in Neuroscience and minor in Music. I want to go to USC, I got in, but the cost is so high, but I have not sent the my rejcection acceptance letter because I am hoping for something to happen that would allow me the oppurtunity to go to USC. I am on a weight lost journey so that I have a better shot of competition in the music industry. Lost 60 lbs already and I think it could be a good marketing strategy for me as an artist beacuse the media loves a good weight lost story and journey. My objectives is to become a Legend in the music industry. I have high goals, expectations, but I'm no fool. I relaize this is a buisness and I want to make good music that sells as well. My songs are r&b, pop, rock. I love a good rock song because I think guitars are the universal instrument. Most great number 1 songs have a guitar in them and I just write on how I feel. I have written about 100 + songs (lyrics) up to this point and I continue to write. My music style is compartive to whatever journey I am in life. I think fans want honesty and if you are sad and you write all these happy songs, fans can feel that dishonesty and do not respond well to the music. I do perform live, I love to perform live. I have done numeruous talent shows, showcase shows, and my creativity is what I believe helps me out in my live shows. I never want the audience to be board, so I always try to pull tricks out of my hat. In one show I did, I pulled powder out of my pocket, before the songs switched and wowed the crowed. People come to see a show and thats exactly what I give them. I dance, sing, and love to show the corwd my creativity. All I need is a chance.....
