Bio:
Hello, my name is Don, some call me Dondo.

I have been singing since the age of about 3 years old and I remember making my younger brother hold a flashlight on me as I sang "Mack the Knife" for my relatives. Music has always been in my blood and all the while when I was growing up it remained and integral part of my life. I am the single parent of three great children: Michael-age 21, Alyse-age 18 and Don Christian-age 15 and I work as a public school teacher in my home town teaching Biology to 9th graders.

My true love and passion is telling the story of the Bible through song and music. I believe that I have been blessed with a wonderful gift of singing and I fully intend to use it when I "grow up". I began writing "God songs" about 10 years ago and have been singing seriously for Him, wherever and whenever possible.

I began recording 3 years ago when I hooked up with my youngest son's bass and guitar teacher, Chuck Davis. Since that time we have collaborated on several songs and have just finished my first CD entitled "Songs for Jesus - Volume 1". The CD contains seven tracks, of which four are original and the remaining three are covers. I believe that these songs have a definite place in the world of Christian music, which happens to be the fastest growing genre of music today. Without exception, everyone who has listened to the CD has said the songs belong in the mainstream of Christian music.

It is my prayer that this will happen according to His will and that I'll be a voice for Christ when I finally "grow up".
