Music Background
Been playing sax for about 27 years at this point, made my living doing it for about 8 or 9 until I got burned out on the business. I still play professionally a reasonable amount, but don't do it as my sole source of income anymore.
Music Skills
Pretty much, when it comes to sax, I'm a jack of all trades, master of none. I solo reasonably well, and can read music.
Music Hardware
I own 4 saxes: a Yamaha YAS-62 soprano (Selmer 'G' mouthpiece), two Selmer Mark VI altos (Beechler 8 mouthpiece), and a Couf tenor (Beechler 7 mouthpiece) and use Vandoren Java reeds exclusively (usually a 2 - 2 1/2, depending on my mood). I also have an Akai EWI 3000 that I'll use once in a while.My current mic setup consists of a Griffin iMic interface and a Shure PGX1 Wireless mic that has a Beta 98 element. Before that, anything recorded on here was pretty much just done with a stock Shure SM57. Music Software
GarageBand exclusively (at least so far). At some point, I'd like to maybe add some jam packs.
