Composing and arranging music all my life, I lead a rather quiet existence in the small town of Point Richmond in the San Francisco Bay Area (northern California). I've had an opportunity of studying with some great people - like Nadia Boulanger with whom I got to spend 50 hours in Paris in the 1970's. Composing for figure skater Kristi Yamaguchi was another thrill. Recently, my music has been getting into film. I keep teaching, too, as I love sharing the process.
