Bio:
I am a professional classical chromatic harmonica player. I started studying with the great Tommy Reilly when i was only 22. I have played performed on many TV and radio programmes in the UK and abroad. I was a guest artist with the Ivy Benson in 1973 when we toured around Germany. Nowadays I teach privately, give master classes twice a year with the National Harmonica League in Bristol and Birmingham. I still enjoy performing in concerts often with my son Lee who is a superb accompanist. Lee's username on Macjams is leemiguel2004.

You can see myself performing accompanied by my son here.

The first piece is a work by my son Lee called 'French Waltz' and the second is called 'Meditation' by Massenet.

Music Background
I started studying the piano with my father from an early age. He was a pianist, organist and choir master. I also learned to play the electronic organ. It was not 'til I was 22 that I learned to play the harmonica. I studied for 2 years with Tommy Reilly. I also studied the flute when I lived in London in the 70's with James Gallway's assistant. As well as playing I have also composed a fair bit of music for harmonica.
