Music Background
Grew up listening to Public Enemy, 2-tone and first wave ska, De La Soul, Tom Waits, Penguin Cafe Orchestra, Blondie, New World Order, etc. Studied saxophone like a lazy little twerp in grade school. Music kept me sane through high school and I mined hip-hop for something like an identity. Started fucking around on computers; taking parts of good songs and putting them in novel and mediocre contexts. I love to play around with music, it makes me pay better attention and helps sooth my soul, but have no serious pretensions of being a musician or anything. Just a dabbler.
