I "played" trombone for like...5 minutes when I was in Jr. HS, but that was a million years ago, so I don't remember any of it. I come from a family of musical underachievers--mom sang opera when she was young, but quit when she started a family. She tells me my grandfather, who died before I was born, was a good singer and could play just about any brass instrument. Other than my brief and unfortunate history with the trombone, I have no musical training. I have listened to and loved much film music over the years, so that has been my primary interest.

Slighly better than a monkey on keyboards (unless he's reeeeaaaally talented). Currently learning air guitar, but that's slow going. I'm told I have a pretty decent singing voice, but I have yet to try writing and recording a song...maybe one day.
