Bio:
Born and bred in Liverpool and like most kids from that place got my first guitar as a young teenager (in the late 60s). I've been dabbling with a guitar or two ever since and couldn't imagine life without one. I've never had any musical training (probably obvious from the tunes I post!) and play entirely by ear. Moved south many years ago where I work as a biology teacher/researcher. My musical tastes are pretty varied and reflected, to an extent, in my posts. GB and macjams has really rekindled my attempts at songwriting/arranging and one year on I'm still bowled over by being able to plug instruments straight into the laptop to capture ideas and make and mix multitrack digital recordings from the sofa.
