Bio:







I went to school for the fine arts, painting, and taught that for a while, but I am now a graphic design executive by day, and a musician most the rest of the time. I play guitar and bass mostly, do midi synth stuff, use drum machines and other odd instruments. I sing, but that isn't my forte.

I have been writing and recording since I started in '66 with a Sears mono cassette recorder, went through the Yamaha 4-track years in the 80's, now I use Logic Pro.

I do a lot of solo stuff, where I write, play and produce the whole thing, but also my brother, Andrew and my longtime friend Matt M. (aka MacJams sonnyjim), and I have been creating music together for over 20 years. We used the band name "USER" for years, so that's on all our CD's artwork. We have since learned there are about 10 other bands with that name, so we don't use it anymore, but I can't be bothered making all new artwork...

Some of what I do is alternative pop, rock, instrumentals, a couple tear-jerking ballads, some could be called art-trip. A few of my influences these days are: Fountains of Wayne, The Goo Goo Dolls, Jim's Big Ego, Skeleton Key, Tenacious D, Neil Finn, DJ Crush, Count Basie, Husker Du, The Sensational Alex Harvey Band.....
