I have barely been around here at all, and I do apologize for not taking the time to comment on people's work as much as I should.
I've not been giving much, if any time to my own stuff or to working on Evelyn Machine. All of my musical endeavours as of late have been poured very willingly into my band This Caustic Autumn. In the late winter I started recording our 4 song EP, all of which is posted on our page, and then hand made a few hundred copies of it to distribute... all over the place. In the months since then I have a new drummer and bass player working with me. We played a few shows in and around Toronto, and then got the opportunity to take part in an industry showcase at The Opera House in Toronto on Aug. 7. We managed to generate a little more interest, as we walked away the winners of the evenings competition, and Sony/BMG is buying us a bit of time at a reputable studio. Between that and our own endeavours, there should be an LP by October.
These have been and continue to be very exciting times.
