Singing has been paramount in my life ever since I learned the words to 'twinkle twinkle little star' at the age of three. My musical journey has been an emotional one from then on. My favoured instuments are the Jew's harp and the maracas as I can express myself most fully with encased dried beans.
I have been participating in 'Open Mic' nights of late.... Michael was a bit reluctant to share his problems with the group at first but he has really come along leaps and bounds!
Everyday when I wake up I chant those immortal words preserved for all of us forevermore by ABBA: 'Thank you for the music". This, I find, helps me get through the daily struggle that is life.
Afterall, without a song and a dance what are we?
