Bio:
A computer programmer by trade, I'm here to learn and have fun in my "copious free time".

I had some piano lessons in my youth, which mostly amounted to learning how to "interpret" a handful of classical pieces.

As an adult I started teaching myself a bit of guitar, with the specific intent of learning how to improvise, which mostly amounts to noodling around...a sort of constrained randomness, I suppose.

Now I would like to learn more about song structure and production. I have been bored of being a cud-chewing consumer for a long time now, and want to make something for a change. Who knows how that will turn out.

Have low expectations. That sometimes helps.
