I have been playing and writing music for over 40 years. My wife Laurie primarily writes lyrics and I do most of the music. Laurie has called me the singing shrink since I became a psychologist.

Music Background
I starting out singing gospel music in the Gospel Singing Williams Family with my father (Ron), mother (Kathy), grandfather (George), two brothers (George and Steve), and sister (Lora). After years of regional performances, we branched out and played popular music in clubs, fairs, and private parties across the US and Canada. The family band ended in in late 70's and since then I have been in a number of bands. I currently play mandolin in a bluegrass band (The Nearly Brothers) - we play at bluegrass festivals in and around upstate New York.
Music Skills
I am a guitar player. I also play mandolin, bass, and some keyboard.
