Music Background
i listen many styles of music: classic rock, alternative, solo acoustic guitar, old country, celtic, jazz, jam bands, etc.. It just depends on the day. My best friend summed it up best: "I listen to anything that doesn't suck"
i primarily play rock, but i am open to nearly anything.
My family had a Southern Gospel band when i was growing up, so there is a strong country influence as well.
i play an awful lot of Acoustic guitar and would probably consider myself an acoustic guitarist before electric.
Music Skills
I have been been playing:
Guitar - longer than i haven't;
Harmonica - 13 years;
Mandolin - off and on for 8 years;
Sax - 3 years, then a long lapse, now i've picked it up again;
Piano - life, although i'm only slightly better now than i was at 9....
Some formal theory training, but mostly self-taught
