Texas electronic band directly inspired by Kraftwerk, Cybotron, Art of Noise, Afrika Bambaataa & The Soulsonic Force, Devo and other early '80s artists in the same vein such as Twilight 22, Laid Back, Uncle Jam's Army, The Egyptian Lover, Newcleus and The Jonzun Crew. Also indirectly inspired by Prince, Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, D'Angelo, Erykah Badu, Jamiroquai, Dr. Dre and Jay-Z.
