Somewhere between country music and the Los Angeles power pop scene is a middle ground. That middle ground is the Inland Empire. Here for the first time, is a blend of everything good about country music such as the harmony of the Eagles, Restless Heart, and Rascal Flatts with a decidedly California groove. This is the foundation of songwriters Dave Morris and Mike Odalas. This is King Nosmo, “California Groove Country.” Listen to the ballad "Many Are the Nights" and the toe tapping "Pixie" for the country influence, then take a corner with the rockin' "Fallin' Hard" and on to the self-described "Groove Country" sounds of "Maybe You're A Cowboy, Too" and "Heart Of The Matter". King Nosmo's live shows capture the Southern California influence that is imprinted on just about every type of popular music and as they say in their auto-biographical hit, "California Country." L.A. may have big skyscrapers and Orange County has the beaches, but head a few miles east with the sun behind ya, "You're neck will get pretty red …on The 10 To San Berdu!"
