I love music. I have over 200 CDs and over 10,000 songs in my iTunes Library. I could no longer just listen to music. I had a craving to start making music, but there was one thing stopping me from doing that. I don't know how to make music. And I'm pretty bad at playing too. I purchased iLife, and GarageBand helped me put some simple songs together with loops. My band, Memento Mori was impressed with the simplicity of GB and we incorporated it into our live sets. Now, months later I purchased a keyboard. Now, I can write simple parts and form an unstructured song but at the very least I'm creating my own music. It's not great but I'm improving tremendously day to day and I'm proud of myself, considering I've never had any music lessons and have no musical talent.
