I started playing guitar at age 15, gigging at 17. I've played in various rock bands in the St. Louis area over the years. The highlights were Since Hector Was a Pup (w/ Ian Baird of Spring Clock Wonder), Sombrance, and Spin Radio. I've spent the last few years writing and recording demos and I'm working on putting together a CD and a new band. I've also had the pleasure of engineering, co-producing, & working as a studio musician on various projects in genres ranging from acoustic folk to death metal. I occasionally dabble in electronic music for fun and have written a few scores for some indie film soundtracks. Several years ago I picked up a Native American flute for fun and it started a whole new obsession for me. I'm fascinated with ethnic wind instrumnents of any kind. I've been studying Native American, Irish/Celtic traditional, Middle Eastern, and Asian music. So apart from my normal noisy guitar rock stuff, I've been writing and recording a lot of acoustic instrumental music. I plan on releasing a CD of that stuff soon.
