I even received three free months of movie channels, and also included each month were my local stations. With so many channel options, I was excited that I got the free upgrade to a receiver that had an integrated Digital Video Recorder (DVR) to record, pause, and play live television. I can record up to 100 hours of shows and watch them at a later time. This is a great Dish Network feature for me because in a house with small children, there are always interruptions during my television shows.
Another great feature is the ability to have control over what my children can and cannot watch. Through the System Locks feature, I can program the guide to hide pay-per-view movie options, as well as adult channels. I can also block shows from being viewed based on their television ratings or the content of the show. This feature, which is password-protected, also allows me to lock the front panel buttons on the receiver, keeping my kids from finding a way around my parental controls. Dish Network Satellite TV service has made it easy to keep my kids safe.
My television viewing experience has greatly improved since the purchase of my Dish Network satellite system. I would highly recommend DishNetwork to anyone. If you want a system with lots of channels and programming options, then Dish Network is for you.
