Anyone with Internet access, a web browser, and a valid e-mail account can be a member of MacJams.com. Although the content of our site is focused on the creation of music using Macintosh computers, anyone, Mac users or not, can listen to the thousands of great tunes we host for free.
MacJams is also open to anyone who does not make music at all, but simply enjoys listening to and critiquing the music of others. Two of the most valuable functions we provide to our artist members are song voting and commeting. By casting your votes for songs, and commenting on them, you provide a valuable service to our artist membership, who use this feedback to help them improve their work.
Once again, the stated focus of the MacJams site is to highlight and facilitate the creation of music on Macintosh computers, using a variety of software and hardware available for the platform. However, even more important than this platform-specific focus is a dedication to helping musicians improve their work by participating in an active, vibrant, and talented community of artists that are committed to working with each other.
