Ironically, my first foray at writing lyrics since joining Macjams (and in God knows now many years) have turned out to probably be a better fit for hard rock/metal, which is not a genre I usually work with as a singer, and not really suited for Kassia's musical approach either. Feel free to prove us wrong or run with it in whatever direction floats your boat.

My inspiration was a rather dark and disturbing story from this area that was in the national news yesterday.

Anyway, this is what came to mind after reflecting on the story for a while this evening. It was the only thing that kept coming back into my mind after repeated attempts to think of something else. So eventually I just went with it.
