Hey
I was in the same boat as you a year back. I got both these books and worked my way through them. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Apple-Pro-Training-Series-Express/dp/0321636805/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1335945438&sr=8-2 http://www.amazon.co.uk/Apple-Pro-Training-Series-Professional/dp/0321647459/ref=sr_1_12?ie=UTF8&qid=1335945438&sr=8-12 They come with CDs full of lessons that you work through in the books and all the sound files are included. You do need both books as the basic version doesn't cover all functions but it's worth it. You start to understand what Logic is capable of in the right hands and I found it sets off all sorts of ideas in your head. The books also set you up to take the official Apple Logic qualification exam if you so choose to take it. I haven't but I'd imagine if I did these books compliment the exam perfectly. Only thing is you might be better off searching for cheaper copies on eBay. Plus I've also had a lot of support from people on this site when I get stuck, just by posting a question or asking someone who's offered to help in the past. Trying to think, but Markholbrook is the first name that comes to mind! I hope this helps. Logic is great once you get into it. Stephen |

Logic is incredible. I've only just started to get my head around it but it's so powerful and flexible that I wonder how it can be done so relatively cheaply.
Good luck with your journey! Cheers Dick Hanging in with the out crowd (All rights reserved) |

It might well be because Apple knows that you just might buy a computer in order to get your hands on it. |

that and the earlier adopters paid for the initial purchase and continued research and development ; ) lots of people paid lots of money. also macs phone home apple is perfectly aware of the pervasive extent of pirated and or shared software. they use the research garnered not to circle the wagons so much as to set mutually favorable price points I imagine ; ) |
