Logic CPU help!
Friday, August 17 2012 @ 09:33 AM CDT

I've got the latest version of Logic, and I've always wondered why it was running so incredibly slow for me.

I've just seen that it's only using ONE of the 8 threads. I'm running a 2.2Ghz i7 on 8GB RAM (It's the late 2011 macbook pro model). So whatever I'm using on Logic - be it just a couple of audio tracks, or a 64 channel EXS24 orchestral with space designer, as soon as I hit the play button, Thread 1 spikes and stays constant 100%, and all the other threads are virtually unused.

Has anyone else come across this?
Any ideas?
