I use DP becuz I started using Performer in 1887, woops, 1987, and so I know it backwards and forwards. Also, it is GREAT for film scoring integration and precision MIDI adjustments. It is not as good as Logic at editing the audio content of files and integrating subsequent cuts. (It creates more clicks.) It is also more finicky than Logic at integrating plugins. I go back and forth, depending who I'm working with, and if I need superior MIDI adjustment tools.

DP has great MOTU plugins, tho, their modular synths, etc.

I can't image switching over to DP if I was only a Logic user and didn't have decades of MOTU under my belt.

Eagerly awaiting your report...maybe I'll just get the upgrade anyway, tho' I always reckon getting the .0 version of anything a little risky
