Live Bluegrass

I've had little live events here and there when I put together a little combo for a song or two. But next Wednesday will be my first gig with my bluegrass group. We will be playing a half hour or more set (depending on our reception). I'm coordinator, but definitely not the front person. We have 4 vocalists, 2 guitars (incl. me), mandolin, banjo, washtub bass (he is amazing!), autoharp, and light percussion. There are a few songs I help with backup vocals, too.
'Till last year, I never really played bluegrass. It's good fun, and very forgiving... unless you want to be a professional... We are "Prairie Reckoning" and I will try to get a recording to post, if not a video. |
