Andrew has just posted a song by Jerry - it's a wonderful collab with Jerry, Andrew, Andrew's son Ryan, and Freddy:
I Don't Want To Hear my latest: "Blind Love (Seeing Heart)-Orchestral Version" |

Friendships are priceless. Departures are so much easier when you have friends to see you off. My prayers are for Jerry and family and for all his good friends left with a hole in their heart. Terry

When Jerry has passed on beyond us, into whatever new reality it may be (that we, too, will very soon encounter...), remember this. That’s him. Just the person, and, just the music. The consequences of all of those gone-berserk cells that for some reason or another just couldn’t stop reproducing themselves do not appear at all in this recording, and, very soon if not already, they no longer do (and forevermore will never again) affect Jerry, either. One of my long friends who has also since passed on put it to me this way, and I never forgot: “You know what the end of this life really is? It’s bloody inconvenient!” I like to think ... and in fact I really do think ... that, after that “bloody inconvenience” had once-and-for-all come and gone, my friend was at last able to continue with his life. (The mere fact that I, from my point-of-view right now, am not able to fill in all the details, is neither here nor there.) Someday, I’m looking forward to buying him a celestial beer and catching up with old times. I choose not to think that it is inconceivable that I actually will be able to do just that. “We live. Interesting times...” |
