Lost In The (TW) Shuffle
Wednesday, October 18 2017 @ 11:04 AM CDT

Surrounded by icons like Harrison, Dylan, Orbison and Petty, Jeff Lynne
was often overlooked as part of The Traveling Wilburys. A shame, really.
He was and remains a very talented musician/singer/songwriter.

He also served as producer for albums by Harrison, Orbison and Petty —
and many other celebrated artists.

A talent indeed. As a producer he very much put his stamp on the product, to the point where for instance Harrison's "Cloud 9" was a Jeff Lynne record, performed by George Harrison. Still, it was a consistent and high quality album.

Btw, these days you should really say "No, he's still alive, I just want to express my appreciation" if you post something like this. Too many people of that generation are dying left and right.

Victor.

Well I did say "He was and remains a very talented musician/singer/songwriter." But I do understand what you're saying... WAY too many in the past few years. Wink
