Eric Clapton, Carlos Santana and Jimmy Page are all trying to get into a music club but the bouncer won't let them because he says there's a rule that guitarists aren't allowed in.

Each guitarist tries to charm the bouncer by convincing him that they're the best guitarist in the world but despite each man listing their musical achievements and showing off their axe-meister skills the bouncer is adamant that they're not coming in.

Then a man arrives with a guitar and goes up to the bouncer. Clapton, Santana and Page all shout out that he's wasting his time but the man ignores them and shows the bouncer that his guitar has no strings on it at which point, much to the three guitar gods' bemusement and annoyance, the bouncer lets the man go in.

Well the three ageing rockers are outraged. "We're the finest guitarists of our generation, we've each sold millions of albums and we are adored by music geeks throughout the world" says Clapton, "but you won't let us in. And yet that bloke, a nobody, walks up to you with a broken guitar and you let him without question! What's going on?"

The bouncer looks at them and replies, "He's always allowed in… no strings attached".
