Actually I think "Pilgrim" is stil one of his best.Totally dumped on. But a very spiritual journey. I was in Borders earlier doing some browsing=to poor to afford(actually more like to cheap to spend). I heard some of the new one with Cale. Eric was just smoking it. Never have I heard him sound as good. I mean really good stuff. And if Eric sucks as you say. I'm not a major fan of EC. Then PIE you have a lot of work ahead just to get to the point of sucking. Work, work, work. Taylor

The latest issue of Vintage Guitar has EC and JJ Cale on the cover, and a great article inside if you are into either of those guys. Was thinking about going to see him in LA in March, but it's sold out--ridiculous prices. He says JJ Cale will make some surprise appearances with him on this tour, and LA seemed a likely venue to me. There's part of me that finds him bland, predictable, and uninspired, but I keep coming back to his music....go figure??

he's done absolutely nothing since he left cream.

Setting aside the rest of your troll, I think you forgot both Blind Faith and Derek & the Dominoes. Both of those were after Cream.

Eric Clapton has very poor left hand position, so he can't be any good.

The whole art of being a member of an Internet community is to be able to juggle threads of communication smoothly, and pick-up on potential interconnects...

It is in this spirit that I nominate Eric Clapton as moderator....

And try, selfishly, to claim #300....
