The CEO at the company I used to work at had the habit of adding a standard item :

* Fun

For nearly a decade I wondered where the fun part was ... I think that he was the only one having fun ...

FUN is rarely dissected, because nobody wants to know what a CEO thinks is "fun"... but it usually is an acronym for:
F.ear
U.ncertainty
N.arcissism

This is so true !

The CEO added the FUN part because at the end of the quarter he'll be taking his family on a 2 week vacation to Tahiti . . . after taking all the accolades heaped upon him by the board for a job well done even though he's not exactly sure how it was all accomplished.

CEO's truly are the planets smartest people, for knowing how to work the system again and again.

Having worked for a couple of very large corporations, my favorite thing is the dreaded "deadline". A deadline is imposed to make everybody scramble like hell, do a fairly botched up job and then after all that, the deadline is extended out much further. I once asked my supervisor what was the reason for a particular deadline and she said, "We just set that as a date." Yanno? I wanted to add a rejoinder to her statement, such as, "Oh, I see...so there's a right way, a wrong way, and then the way we do it!"

"Where phones and music somehow are somehow related"
