It is supposedly documented that the DOJ already suggested that Gibson move their manufacturing to india. (which I'm sure would make it much easier for Gibson employees to pay their rent). Whether you like or dislike Gibson, something sure smells about this.

That's my main point. Our government has been giving incentives for companies to base their manufacturing outside of this country for decades. This is another, more intrusive example of it.

Well I'd venture to say that you were able to pay "more" of your rent while working at Gibson than you could of had Gibson moved all of its manufacturing overseas...

But all the points mentioned are valid. Yes we can't rush to judge the officials. We don't know enough. We can't stand behind Gibson until we know more.

But I guess I feel like there are MUCH BIGGER fish to fry... Instead of a raid involving quite a few "expensive" agents, seizure of wood, etc. How about a little more reasonable approach like a Federal Inquiry...
