Axe-FX II

Has anyone used the Axe-FX II amp modeler? I've heard that it is the best guitar preamp-modeler out there.

I've read that it is excellent but not cheap!

The Kember profiling amp also gets some very good reviews. Of course it isn't cheap either but then again if it really does give you the sound of just about any amp then perhaps it's a bargain. In fact thinking about it I spent nearly £400 on a Boss multi-effects and £800 on my amp. The Kember box is going for £1300 so not such a bad deal in some ways.

That Kemper amp is very cool as well; thanks for the link Dick.

I'm looking for a really high quality pre with excellent sampled amps that I can plug right into my DAW. From my experience the Line 6 and other digital sampled "plug-in" amps all have a lot to be desired. The fractal or the Kemper are a bit pricey but would probably be the best solution.
